THE LOUDERMILK'S
Miller Loudermilk
Design & Properties Coordinator
Miller has been a part of Homes By Design from the beginning working with Jon on design aspects as well as property acquisitions. Along with her duties within HBD, Miller is also a licensed real estate agent with Sendero Properties. Miller is able to work with HBD clients helping them sell their current home and design their new home. When not working her full time job or helping raise the Loudermilk children, Miller will most likely be found helping her community. In the spring of 2019, Miller was elected to the Wylie ISD School Board where she takes that role extremely serious. Her other community duties include being a past chair of Cattle Barons Ball and now a member of the advisory committee, leading a church community group, working with Junior League of Abilene, and anything else that she feels passionate about. Miller is a former teacher and coach who comes from an education and service background. After graduating from the University of Houston, Miller spent seven years as a speech teacher, head track and cross country, and girls’ athletic coordinator. Miller loves Abilene and continues to embrace her roll in this community.

Jon Loudermilk
Owner
Jon comes from a construction background and building is something he has been a part of since an early age. Jon’s father Jim has been in the business for over 45 years and has been a great influence and teacher. Jon started off cleaning up jobs for summer money then began framing, roofing, and other trades during his high school years. Jon grew up in Stephenville, TX where he played on back to back Texas State Championship football teams in 1993-1994 going 32-0 over the two year span. After high school, Jon moved to Abilene where he played football and received his BBA in Physical Education from Hardin-Simmons University. Jon was a two-time All-Conference Defensive Back for the Cowboys and went on to coach football for 15 years. Jon spent most of his career coaching college football with stops at Hardin-Simmons University, University of Houston, and Texas A&M-Commerce.
Jon officially made his career switch in the spring of 2012 and has quickly established Homes By Design as a premier builder in the big country. In October of 2017 Jon was elected by his peers to be president of the Big Country Home Builders Association where he served two consecutive years in that roll. In 2018, under Jon’s leadership, the BCHBA was named 2018 Association of the Year for the State of Texas and Homes By Design was named 2018 Builder of the Year for the BCHBA. The work of Homes By Design has also been featured on the show “Builder of Excellence” and several other publications. Jon is a hands on builder that takes pride finishing a home with integrity and honesty. In the summer of 2019, Jon launched a new concept to Abilene with 3D home planning that has proven to be a game changer for his clients. The design and selection process has been cut in half as well as the stress level for the homeowner. Clients of Homes By Design have the opportunity to digitally walk through their home and make selections prior to construction.
Jon is also heavily involved in the Abilene community. Currently, Jon serves as the immediate past president for the BCHBA, Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, City of Abilene Board of Adjustments, Advisory Committee for Cattle Barons Ball, and Wylie Little League Coach. Jon and Miller have three children who attend Wylie Schools. Annalise and Catelee are involved in volleyball and competitive gymnastics while Rylan enjoys baseball and soccer. The family enjoys spending time together playing sports in the yard or taking short trips. The Loudermilk’s are members of Wylie United Methodist Church and also enjoy growing relationships with their church family.
THE HAMMOND'S
CRYSTAL HAMMOND
Crystal Hammond came to Homes By Design in March of 2017. After holding various positions at Citibank for many years and gaining a wealth of knowledge, Crystal took her talents to Layton & Gage CPA where she worked for 3 years. In 2015, Homes By Design built Landon and Crystal a home and quickly became great friends with Jon and Miller. With a growing family and wanting to switch directions, Crystal quickly became a perfect fit for Homes By Design. During a typical day, Crystal works with various financial institutions, HBD customers, and the HBD team to ensure a smooth process during construction. Crystal is a native of Buffalo Gap and a 2001 graduate of Jim Ned High School. She is married to Landon Hammond and the couple has two children Landry (9) and Lincoln (1). The family is involved in various community events such as March of Dimes and Cattle Barons Ball. In their spare time you can typically find them at the Wylie baseball fields where Landon coaches their son in little league.

THE PRESLEY'S
DAVID PRESLEY
David came to Homes By Design in January of 2018 working with finish carpentry and outside detail. Prior to joining HBD, David spent most of his life in law enforcement. David brings a fresh perspective to the HBD Team with his energy and attitude. On a typical day, David is checking job sites, maintaining quality control, keeping sites free of debris, or finish carpentry work. David is the oldest of Jon’s three brothers. He is married to April Pressley and the couple have three adult children in Nicole, Cody, and Taylor. In David’s spare time, he can typically be found helping others. God blessed David with a warrior servants’ heart and David has embraced his blessings.
